FAQ – Screen Printing Machines
What is the difference between K-SER Zero and K-SER1 Evo?
The K-SER Zero is a pure manual press without a UV exposure unit. Ideal for those who have a separate UV source or use sunlight. The K-SER1 Evo integrates the UV unit with a digital timer into the same machine — all in one. The K-SER1 Evo also comes as a complete kit with frame, squeegee, emulsion and ink included.
Can I use these machines to print on paper or wood?
Yes. Both machines have a height-adjustable print head compatible with materials of different thicknesses. You can print on paper, cardboard, wood, metal and plexiglas in addition to textiles.
How much space do they take up?
Both machines are compact and freestanding. They require no wall mounting and can be placed on any work table. The K-SER Zero is the more compact of the two.
Can I expand the machine for multicolour printing?
Yes. The K-SER1 Evo has a patented modular system that allows additional colour modules to be added (SLIDE system). For professional multicolour printing, each colour requires a separate screen and a dedicated print pass.
