The K-SER1 Evo screen printing machine puts a manual screen printing press and a UV exposure unit in one body. You coat the screen, expose it on the machine with the digital timer and print, with no separate exposure unit and no second workstation.

It is a one-colour manual press for T-shirt and textile printing, expandable to more colours, designed in Italy by Keygadgets. Print shops, small studios and people printing garments in-house use it: the screen stays in the same position, so the tenth shirt comes out like the first.

Why it costs more than a basic tabletop press

Basic tabletop presses sell online for a few hundred euros. The K-SER1 Evo is a different kind of machine, for four reasons:

• Made in Italy. Not an imported press with a new label: it is designed and built in Italy.
• Two machines in one. The press and the UV exposure unit with timer share the same frame. With an ordinary press you buy the exposure unit separately and find room for it.
• Add colours when you need them. The modular system, designed in Italy by Keygadgets, takes extra colour stations, so the one-colour press becomes a small multi-colour carousel.
• Small footprint, good looks. It takes 90 × 70 cm of bench space and has a clean design that works in a shop with a visible print area.

Why does it cost more than a basic tabletop press?

Because the UV exposure unit with timer is already built in, the machine is designed and made in Italy, and it can be expanded to multi-colour printing. With a basic press you buy the exposure unit separately.

Do I need a separate exposure unit?

No. Exposure is built in: 4 UV lamps of 14 W each and a digital timer from 0 to 99 seconds. You expose the screen directly on the machine.

Can I print more than one colour?

Yes. The K-SER1 Evo colour station adds stations, and the machine then works like a screen printing carousel.

What is the largest frame I can use?

Frames up to 46 × 66 cm. The print area is 40 × 60 cm.

What can I print on?

T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags and flat textiles. With the height-adjustable print head you can also print on paper, wood, metal and plexiglass.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. The kit includes a manual and the materials for your first screen. You set the seconds on the timer once and every screen gets the same exposure time.
